Friday morning I had a mishap with my laptop, it ended up with a broken screen, I droped it round to the local computer shop, the shop was going to be closed most of the next week, I was given a provisional collection date of a week Monday, I also asked mentioned that the internet connection randomly drops out, thay are going to check that as well.
I fired up the spare PC, this one was replaced as it was starting to play up as there is a battery problem, true to form it had changed all the settings, it changed the pages from being white with black text to black with white text, I spent some time getting it back to normal, certain things were still not working properly, it's a Dell laptop over the years I have had 2 Dell laptops, between them I have had more problems than all the other laptops, put together, I then got out the laptop I brought when I first started the blog, some time back I had it upgtaded to Windows 10 and a SSD drive installed.
I was searching my photo's for a picture of the portable setup I used to take on holiday, I could not find the pictures, I never took any records with me, I would buy them in the Charity shops clean them and post them, one of the first visits would be to Brixham, there is a rcord shop called the Cavern, there were lots of intresting records there, another record shop opened in Paignton I also brought a few records there, I think they fell victim of the Covid lockdown as when I went back after the lockdown it had closed.
The cover picture is of a pair of OO Works ex LSWR 700 class 0-6-0's, I had just fitted DCC chips to them, the red loco is a Hattons Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST Katey being run in on the rolling road.
