A number of people try to make Battersea sound more up market by referring to it as South Chelsea or by changing the pronunciation of Battersea (Bat-Ter-Se-A).
I attended to my appointment at St Georges Hospital Tooting, not knowing how long the journey would take I left in plenty of time to get there, I ended up getting there very early, it took me almost as long to find the part of the Hospital I needed as the journey there, the clinic opened at 09.00 I was second in the queue, they were seeing the people in the order they arrived they carried out various tests and I was informed that a blood vessel behind the eye had burst, I was discharged at about 10.30 and referred back to Epsom Hospital, During the week I had a call they had an appointment for me at St Hellier Hospital on Thursday, my sight is gradually returning to the eye.
